coin-operated photocopier is available for use by pupils, with A4
copies charged at 5p and A3 copies at 10p. Staff are welcome to use
the copier, and should fill in a resources slip found in the photocopier
lid and leave this with the Librarian.
Photocopying is useful if only a small part of a book is required
for study or if the book is a reference book. Highlighting relevant
parts can be very helpful. Reading through the text for key points
first and making notes can sometimes be more useful and also cheaper!
The CLA (Copyright Licensing Agency) regulations, which state how
much of a given publication can be photocopied for a particular
purpose, are posted on the wall behind the photocopier.
