If
information about Pembrokeshire and the local area is needed - maybe
something about the bombing of Pembroke Dock in World War II, or
details of the gentlemanly ghost at Bush House - then the Local
Studies collection in the reference section of the Library should
provide the answer. Tourist information leaflets can be found in
a box in this section (ask the Librarian for a copy you can keep).
In addition, newspaper articles, maps and other printed material
on the area can be found in the top drawer of the filing cabinet.
Articles concerning the Sea Empress disaster are kept in two separate
files; the file/articles can be borrowed by pupils with staff permission
on special loan for a lesson, but must remain in the Library at
all other times. Photocopies can be made.
The Librarian would be pleased to receive any additional information
which pupils and staff can provide.
