Hi! We're 'Fully Booked' and are made up of pupils from Years 7 to Sixth Form. Join us in the Library 'chilling zone' every Thursday lunchtime for the latest books, biscuits and chat.
We get to choose the latest books - some are from our Library here in school, some we have to read and then send back before we can swap them for a new batch. After we've read something, we rate our reads on a voting slip or online - the Red House Children's Book Award is the only national book award where no adult gets a vote!
Then every year in about March, we hear what's made it to the shortlist of the Red House Children's Book Award - thanks to all our votes and those of young people across the UK.
It's then over to us to read the books on the shortlist and vote for our winner!
The countdown is over! Mockingjay, the final instalment of Suzanne Collins' thrilling 'Hunger Games' trilogy - has just been published in the UK on Wednesday
25th August.
Take a look at the Mockingjay trailer - http://schls.tc/SolBEd7y1i
Copies of 'Mockingjay' available from your Library from the start of term! Reserve yours today!

Tell us what it means and you can choose next week's word!

I pray no child of mine should ever descend into such a place as a Library. They are indeed most dangerous places and unfortunate is she or he who is lured into such a hellhole of enjoyment, stimulus, facts, passion and fun.
